“Ok, copy that. Oh, the plug is the same as Japanese one right?”
“Yes, it’s the same. 👍”
Me: “Good, I will not bring the converter then.🙌”
He stopped to think for a few seconds: “Oh, you must also remember to bring your ‘that’ pillow!”
“Haha, you remember my pillow! Ok, I will bring ‘that’ pillow! 😊”
“Oh, the currency! How much do I need to change the money? 💸”
“No, you don’t have to change any money.” *flip his hands 👋*
“Are you sure? 😮”
“Yes!”
He is so happy looking at the maps. “Oh, Angelyn. Look at the beaches!!! You can go and swim there! 😎”
I smiled. Beach is love, love is beach. Awwwwww!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
“Oh, Angelyn! Did you pack your swimming suit?”
“Nope… do I need to bring my swimming suit?”
“Yes, of course! It is a waste if you do not bring it. *blar3… 15 min of justification why I need to bring my bikini*…. Please bring your bikini!”
“Haha, ok! I will bring my bikini! 😅”
“Great! Now you have everything and you are ready to go!”
LOL!!! I love how he reminds me on the small little things and skip those important ones like passport, and flight tickets… 😂 I am not sure how it will turn out, but hey sensei, let me remind you, this is a research trip. Please calm down… Hehehehe…
A reminder to all fellow research students out there:
If you only listen to your supervisor without generating your own ideas, you will end up got trapped in the airport and going no where. No beach, no good food, no fun. Same as for your research. Always remember that. 😝
